Pak Choi Seeds (Green)

Pak choi is a loose-leaf Asian green that's become a favourite for anyone gardening on a balcony or terrace, because it doesn't demand a deep bed or a long growing season. The pale stems and glossy leaves cook down fast in a stir-fry, and since you're harvesting the whole young plant or picking outer leaves as you go, one pot can keep feeding you for weeks rather than giving you a single crop and then sitting empty. It wants a spot with 4-6 hours of full sun a day and soil that stays consistently moist rather than swinging between soggy and bone-dry — erratic watering is usually what makes leafy greens bolt or turn bitter. Give seedlings 20-25 cm of room once they're established so the rosettes can fill out, and expect to start cutting leaves anywhere from 35 to 50 days after sowing, which is quick even by leafy-green standards.
